There were 1270 units sold all over the world. This luxurious engine is labeled as the most aggressive Porsches ever produced. From its initial plan of using a undercharged flat-6, it was then redesigned to use a new V10 engine. This powerful engine was built by Porsche in secret for the Footwork Formula One team in 1992 but didn't materialize. Its road-legal version was revived in 2000 which has 10 cylinders in a V formation with a total displacement of 5.7 liters. It accelerates from 0-60 mph (0-100 km/h) in 3.9 seconds with 600 horsepower.
